A meeting of opposition parties and groups in Sindh hosted by Pakistan Muslim League-Functional chief Pir Pagara on Saturday decided to form a ‘grand alliance’ against the Pakistan Peoples Party with a view to thwarting the ruling party’s attempt to save itself from the ongoing Rangers-led targeted operation and piling more political pressure on it.
In meeting all parties decided to unite against PMLN, and decided for One Party or to adjust seats. According to sources, Prime Minister Chaudry Majeed and Former Prime Minister Sardar Attique of Muslim Conference are active to defeat PMLN in upcoming elections. PM Ch Majeed assign a task to Sardar Attique to talk to PTI and JUIF on grand alliance and to bring them on platform.
However they could not agreed on one Party Election Symbol, as PTI would have assist on their own election Symbol for Grand Alliance.
On other side Prime Minister Abdul Majeed Chaudry is also trying to convince Jamat-e-Islami and JKPP to bring them on Grand Alliance or agree them on seat adjustment. In last elections Jamat-e-Islami and JKPP co-alliance with PMLN.
