Kotli: Citizens of Kotli and united action committee protested against unannounced extensive load shedding at Shaheed Chowk in Kotli. Protestors raised slogans against Wapda and electricity departments. They said that Kashmir has the right on Mangla Dam electricity first.

Prime Minister Nawaz Shareef should declare Kashmir as load shedding free zone on his visit to Kotli. Wapda has charged double for electricity last year and has done the worst load shedding. Protestors said that if 16 hour load shedding did not stop soon, they would lock the electricity offices and take control in their own hands. Numerous known personalities from different political parties took part in this protest.
